Iran, which used to import gasoline in previous years, has now become an active exporter of this strategic petroleum product in the region and the world, with a daily production of 115 million liters of gasoline.

About two years after the operation of the third and final phase of the Persian Gulf Star Refinery and the quality improvement of refinery units in the production of standard gasoline, Iran joined the ranks of gasoline exporting countries. With the closure of the gasoline import case in September 1997, a new leaf was opened in front of the country’s refining industry so that the refining units, in addition to meeting domestic needs, could also meet the gasoline export requests from foreign countries.
